$AVIUM the In-Game Token
This page talks about the in-game currency token $ACIUM. For details of our network token $OOBI see:
Utility
As an in-game token the primary utility of $AVIUM is buying items and paying for experiences inside our games. We also give players numerous opportunities to generate $AVIUM by interacting with our community and by playing our games. For example in the game Heroes of Aviel each land NFT produces a certain amount of $AVIUM each week, if you conquer the land you can claim a portion of that $AVIUM.
Max Supply
There will be 10,000,000,000 (ten billion) $AVIUM tokens in total. This supply will be released to games as they enter our ecosystem. With each game expected to get an allocation of between 100,000,000 and 500,000,000 $AVIUM depending on the scope and potential of the game.
Gaming Pool
6,000 (60%)
Membership and Community Incentive Pool
3,000 (30%)
Reserve Pool
1,000 (10%)
Note that as an in-game token we do not reserve a percentage of this token for founders or team. We will ensure the quality of the team through the use of more standard measures such as above market salaries, performance and revenue based bonuses, and equity via the governance token. The Reserved pool is held in reserve for future purposes but specifically does not include incentivisation of founders or team.
Gaming Pool Allocations
When a new game is published by OOBIKOO Games we will give that game an allocation of tokens from the Gaming Pool. These can be used for rewards inside the game, either through direct rewards (e.g. tournament prizes) or through in game mechanics.
An initial allocation will be provided to two OOBIKOO Games in house projects:
Chains of Command
500
Leaderboard and tournament prize pool.
Heroes of Aviel
500
Token generation from land ownership and conquest.
Remaining for Future Games
5,000
Gaming Pool Revenue Recognition
When players make purchases using the $AVIUM token the game where the $AVIUM was spent will gain recognition for the amount of tokens their customers provided back to the pool. The more $AVIUM a game takes in the more funds they will be allocated for features and improvements.
Tokens received will then be distributed back to the Gaming Pool, Community Incentive Pool, and Reserve Pool, at a ratio of 6:3:1. This redistribution ensures $AVIUM is available for new games to be onboarded in to the ecosystem.
